Reporting to the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief (Operations & Training) is responsible for the development and implementation of training activities within the Fire Department. The successful candidate will also assist with the direction of operational response and equipment and apparatus maintenance. In the absence of the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief (Training and Operations) acts as the Fire Chief and Incident Commander for fire and other related responses within the Town of Smithers Fire Service Area.
