The Fire Marshal is responsible for leading the development and implementation of a comprehensive fire prevention program that includes fire code enforcement (Regina bylaws and provincial legislation), inspections (of both plans and buildings), investigations, record management, and public education. As a member of the Department’s management team, this position leads and/or participates in Fire and Protective Services or City-wide projects and special initiatives. The Fire Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring fire and life safety throughout the community and works collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve these goals.
