Reporting to the Protective Services Manager, the Fire Chief (Moberly Lake Fire Department) will lead a group of dedicated volunteer firefighters serving the communities of Moberly Lake, West Moberly First Nations and Saulteau First Nations. The Fire Chief will oversee administration, training, fire suppression and fire prevention activities, ensuring compliance with local, provincial and federal fire regulations.  The Fire Chief will support fire safety and emergency preparedness public educational programs in the rural areas of the PRRD. This position is required to be on-call and will be required to work long hours during emergency situations. Evening meetings, open houses and training are regular features of this role.
