We are looking for a leader to join the team in the capacity of Assistant Chief, Education & Training. The Assistant Chief, Education & Training is an integral part of the Department Management Team and will oversee staff development and training, quality standards and performance measurement and policies. You will be a major contributor to the planning and implementation of proactive training that set our Fire Services apart from other municipalities. As the ideal candidate, you are a leader, can inspire confidence in your team, and can be impactful. Your innovative ideas will help us build upon our strong history of effectiveness while continuing to move the Department forward. Safety is of paramount importance to our team and as such ensuring continuous development, review and improvement of training initiatives and courses will be a key performance driver for this role. Your contribution to our transformation and the implementation of our strategy will be a career experience for those aspiring to more senior leadership positions within the Fire Service.
